Fifth International Conference on Statistics and Society
at Renmin University 14-15 July 2012,Beijing,China

Since the firth International Conference on Statistics and Society（ICSS） at Renmin Universityof China in 2004, School of Statistics of Renmin University of China heldICSS every two years. Until now, ICSS has been held successfully four times, playing a positive role in enhancing the communication between scholars from all over the world in the field of Statistics.Among all these meetings, the Forth ICSSwas joint with Fifth International Statistical Frontier Seminar held by Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010and achieved greater international influence.

We are pleased to announce the Fifth ICSSwill be held inRenmin University of China on 14-15 July 2012. It’s jointly organized by Renmin University of China, Peking University, National Bureau of Statistics of China, National Statistical Society of China. The fifth ICSS will focus on the frontier theories, methods and applications of Statistics. We warmly welcome scholars from all over the world to participate in this conference.
